I was born and raised in a small Central Texas town. My graduating class only had a total of 113 people! I kid you not. Looking back on it now, there's nothing like growing up in a small town. Of course, my parents were super strict so I didn't get to go any parties, so I started to read. I remember cutting my literary teeth on Harlequins back in the day. That was before the romance novels finally became colorized. I love writing and everything about it. I love doing character studies, although I have to confess, I don't them as often as I would like. Usually, characters pop into my overactive imagination and refuse to leave until I invent a story for them.
I published my first novel in 2004. "Campaign for Love" was released in November of that year and I never looked back. As my career has progressed so has my knowledge of the craft. I have been a member of Romance Writers of America since 2001. I'm also a member of my local RWA chapter. DARA is an outstanding group and I received a lot of good information there. Now, I'm on the executive board as Pan Liaison. I'm also a member of the Kiss of Death and the Sizzling Sisterhood Critique group.
