What happened?
Yeah, I know.  I've been remissed in my blogging.  But I have a good excuses.  My niece had surgery, I had a deadline, and I went on vacation!   I don't know how I made it through the last few weeks but I did.  It only helped me to realize how important time really is.

While I was on vacation in California, I met some relatives and I hung out with my college friend.  I always like going to the coast because I love the beach and love the people.  There always seem to be something to do.

Well now that I'm done with everything, on to my next book.  It seems my heroes go in cycles.  For a while I was doing the miliatry thing, because I have a friend in Navy.  Then  I started doing the spy thing, cause they seem uber sexy.  Now I'm into the medical field.  Go figure.   I love sensitive, caring men, too bad they seem to only exist in my imagination.

May Day
Okay, so it's May already.  I really should be used to the months flying by so fast, but I'm not.  This means I'm way behind on the whole exercise thing, but I'm that much ahead in my writing.   There's only a few more weeks left in the drawing, so I hope you have registered.

Now, I love to read a good book, and I never seem to have enough time to sit and read.  Thank God for audio books.   But every now and then I like to feel the pages beneath my fingertips.  I guess I'm just old school like that.  I can't get into books you read from the computer screen.  I have read some, but I guess I miss that tactile effect.  Maybe I'm a more hands on person than I realize.  Back to writing.

It's almost summer!

I can't believe it's almost summertime.  Big news for me since I also moonlight as a substitute teacher.  I'm looking forward to my down time.  First I have a vacation to California planned to see some of my old friends.  Funny thing, my sinuses clear up so much when I'm there.  I love LA because it has something for everyone.  Hopefully, I'll find some delicious new plot ideas along with the hotties at the beach.

MEN!!
Okay, I guess it's must be me.  You know now that I'm approaching my birthday in a few months, I'm forced to remember how much I've evolved over the years.  In my 20's, I wanted a good looking man buffed body and not much else.  But now I"d like a man who could remember my birthday, my favorite color, and how to spell my name without me having to tell him.  Oh and the ever popular, he must have a job!  Funny how looks never entered my mind.

I'm working on a paranormal at the moment and I'm having to deal with a world that I'm not quite used to.  Now I'm really into most of the new age, stuff, heck I even started doing the organic thing, but some of paranormal world is a little bit of a different beast.  Intriguing but very different.   I think everyone should step outside their box at least once in their lives.  Who knows?  You might find you like it.

And for all you writers out there.  I'm going to start a writers and readers page.  So if you have any questions about the writing industry, please let me know.

April Already!
I guess it must be me or does it seem like the months are going by faster.  I love the spring.  My allergies get a full workout almost daily.  I also like spring because it's the start of all the festivals around the area.  I love all kinds of festivals: art, ethnic, Shakespeare, just about anyplace there's food and a place to sit.   I know what you're thinking.  Why go outside if you have allergies?  I guess I'm just hardheaded that way.

I recently attended the Dreamin' in Dallas Writer's Conference and it was totally awesome.  I met a lot of new people and learned a lot about the publshing end of things.  I'm such a book junkie, I bought books even though I'm swamped right now.  Oh well, I'll just put them in my TBR(to be read) pile and hope I get to them this year.
